Quanzhou Collegiate On-site Observation of Emergency Drill on COVID-19 Prevention and Control Held at QNU

On March 6, Quanzhou collegiate on-site observation of emergency drill on COVID-19 prevention and control was held on Donghai campus of Quanzhou Normal University, for the purpose of putting into place COVID-19 prevention and control measures, improving emergency response, collaboration and handling capacity, and propelling the scientization and standardization of emergency management. There were three simulation scenarios in this exercise, including students' abnormal symptoms such as fever, coughing, fatigue and shortness of breath at registration, during class and in the dormitories.

During the drill, all the staff performed their duties in close cooperation, carried out the corresponding measures for various simulated abnormal symptoms, and dealt with them in a scientific, standardized and orderly manner. After that, Liu Jiangyi, expert of Quanzhou Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention and head of the fifth team of COVID-19 investigation and handling, gave comments on the spot, and Chen Yabing, vice president of QNU and deputy head of the emergency training command of QNU, presided and summarized the drill.
