QNU Works Won Awards in 4th Fujian College Culture and Art Festival for Students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas

Recently, the 4th Fujian College Culture and Art Festival for Students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas hosted by the Education Department of Fujian has come to an end. A total of 106 works won awards. All of the 6 works submitted by QNU won awards. Among them, piano solo Dedication by Associate Professor Yu Zhongyuan, a teacher from Taiwan won the only Best Performance Award; Filipino student Liu Melissa Ayn's calligraphy work Global Cooperation against the Epidemic, Shared Destiny of Humanity won the Third Prize of the Graphic Works Award (calligraphy and painting category); the other 4 works won the Excellence Awards in Stage Performance, Chinese Language and Graphic Works.

The 4th Fujian College Culture and Art Festival for Students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas, with a theme of I & Friendship & Fortune is designed to reveal the development and changes of China since the founding of the CPC over 100 years ago, especially the development of Fujian since the reform and opening up from the perspective of students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas through their stories about the friendship between Chinese and foreigners and the sharing of their education experience in Fujian. Since 2017, QNU has selected and submitted works of teachers and students to the festival each and every year. While achieving good results, it also showcases the demeanor of the teachers and students from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas.
