The 2023 Fujian Maritime Silk Road Culture Summer Camp for International College Students kicked off on August 1. International students from 6 universities in Fujian province, university officials as well as volunteers attended the opening ceremony. As reported, these 51 international students came from 18 different countries.
Huang Jiangkun, QNU’s Vice President, on behalf of the University, extended a warm welcome to all the guests and participants, and briefly introduced the history and culture of Quanzhou city, QNU’s latest educational achievements and its oversea exchanges and cooperation.
Liu Yingying (Philippine), a postgraduate student from QNU, and David (Benin), a doctoral student from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, gave their addresses as student representatives. QNU students gave intangible cultural heritage performances like Nanyin bamboo flute solo chant, diabolo playing, etc.
